The scheduled August 13, 2025 County Council meeting has been moved from 6:00 p.m. to a 5:30 p.m. start time. The meeting will be held in the Courthouse Auditorium located on the 1st floor of the Courthouse at 120 N. Court Street in Portland, Indiana.
The council meeting for August was pushed back to a 5:30 p.m. start time to allow for a joint session between Council, Commissioners and the Jay County Country Living Advisory Board of Directors after the conclusion of the council meeting. The joint session time will be noticed seperatley once the council agenda is finalized for August.
