NOTICE OF HEARING

Jay County Commissioners

The Jay County Commissioners will meet on July 21, 2025 which starts at 4:00 p.m. at the Jay County Courthouse Auditorium, 1^st Floor, 120 N Court St. Ste 202, Portland, IN 47371

The Board of Jay County Commissioners will consider a recommendation from the Jay County Plan Commission to amend the county zoning code to implement a moratorium on wind farm projects and CO2 Geological Carbon Sequestration Storage Facilities for no longer than 12 months, so that the Plan Commission can consider proposals for the amendment of the zoning ordinance.  The meeting will be opened for public comment at that time.  Those wishing to speak will need to sign in and will be limited to two minutes on the topic.
