PUBLIC NOTICE OF MEETING 

                The Jay County Redevelopment Commission will meet at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 18th, 2025, in the Jay County Courthouse Auditorium, 120 N Court St. Portland, IN 47371. The purpose of the meeting will be to hold a hearing and approve invoices as presented.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE
JAY COUNTY REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION

Notice is hereby given that the Jay County Redevelopment Commission (the “Commission”) on November 12, 2025, approved and adopted a resolution (the “Declaratory Resolution”) (i) designating an area known as the Jay County Economic Development Area (the “Area”) as an economic development area pursuant to Section 41 of Indiana Code § 36-7-14-1, et seq. (the “Act”), (ii) approving an economic development plan for the Area (the “Economic Development Plan”), and (iii) designating as an allocation area pursuant to Section 39 the Act, each of the Skycrest Allocation Area, Allocation Area, the Sun Chief Allocation Area, and the Hodson-Rose Allocation Area, and (iv) designated as a designated taxpayer pursuant to Section 39.3 of the Act, each of Suncrest Solar Energy, LLC, Sun Chief Solar Farm LLC, Hodson Greendefine Jay Desoto LLC, and Rose Gold Solar, LLC. The Jay County Plan Commission and the Board of Commissioners of Jay County, Indiana, subsequently approved the Declaratory Resolution.

Notice is hereby given that the Commission will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. (local time), in the first floor Auditorium of the Jay County Courthouse, Suite 102, 120 N Court St. Portland, IN 47371, to receive and hear remonstrances and objections from all persons interested in or affected by the Declaratory Resolution and the proceedings pertaining thereto. The Commission will determine the public utility and the benefit of the Declaratory Resolution. Following the public hearing, the Commission will take final action on the Declaratory Resolution by either confirming, modifying and confirming, or rescinding the Declaratory Resolution. The public hearing may be adjourned from time to time.

Maps and plats of the Economic Development Area have been prepared and, along with the Declaratory Resolution and the Economic Development Plan, may be inspected at the offices of the County Auditor, located at the Jay County Courthouse, Suite 202, 120 N. Court St., Portland, IN 47371, during regular business hours.
