The commissioners will meet in special session on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 5:15 p.m. in the Jay County Courthouse Auditorium, located on the 1st Floor of the Courthouse at 120 N. Court Street in Portland, Indiana. The meeting will be held to discuss a decommissioning agreement with Sun Chief Solar and to approve emergency claims.
